Mr. Ric Soliman
-is one man who has come a long way and journey isn't over yet!

A Leonians future triathlete Ric Soliman has been his dream since before he even stepped into high school. This man has certainly come a long way  and is not done yet. Now,however Ric is fighting for the one dream he has aspired to achieve from the moment he laid eyes on the triathletes  who inspired  him to join the iron man.

A short conversation with my iron man.

Joy: Toto,san-o mo lang nabal-an nga dream mo pala maging triathlete?
Ric: Sang nagka racer bike na ko.


Joy: Sin-o nga athlete nga nahangan mo kag-nga a sya?
Ric: Si Manny Pacquaio.


Joy: Pangga, boksingero man na sa ya sa triatlon e.
Ric: damo foreigner a si Luke McKenzie.


Joy: Ano ang regular training regimen mo?
Ric: Bike kadto sa work amo na service ko kag push-up kag rolling exercise diri sa balay ta.


Joy: Ano ang 3 characteristic sang cycling before ka maka intra sa race?
Ric: Una gid Endurance,passion and dapat ga enjoy ka e.


Joy: Dream mo kundi bala maka join  sa KONA Ironman Championship.
Ric: Huo gid pangga kung may budget na ta kag di amo na kadali ang preparation ayhan.


Joy: Pagdako ka anak mo paano mo sya e encourage nga maging athelete kag paano ka maging ehemplo sa iya.
Ric: Una gid si God e explain mo ang talent or skills nya from God na.Bata pa lang discipline na gid e sa gina kaon kag gamay pa lang tudluan ko na sya mag bike e motivate ko gid sya mayo e.

9. Go to beach with my bundle of joy.


10. Spend my entire day with Ric.


11. Encourage every woman I meet to be "Great for God."


12. Learn to bike,swim and how to run fast.


13. Backpack with Ric in Europe/Iloilo.


14. Visit Rizal Park,Intramuros with back horse ridding with my College friends "Disasters".

It's a Baby Girl!

Tuesday, November 8th, I had my 27 weeks sonogram. If you're somewhat behind on my posts, I'm pregnant with a Baby Girl, and thus far I am with a midwife group. But, my 27 week sonogram was different.

Here's Baby Soliman. Baby Soliman is closest to the exit. A girl. Didn't really want to show us her face most of the time. Baby Soliman, at this time is also the bigger of, at 1 pound.

My Baby are very active. Sonographer had trouble measuring either child, because she kept moving. Constantly.

She has her own yolk sac. and has her own placenta. But she is  doing well.Not in any danger, at this time, of going into premature labor.

Presentation:

Birariefal Diameter: 6.84                             cm. 27.1 weeks

Femoral Length: 5.34                                 cm. 27.6 weeks

Abdominal Circumference: 23.1                   cm. 27.2 weeks

Fetal Heart Rate: 144                                 Beats/min.

Placental Location: Anterior high lying,grade 1

Amniotic Fluid: Clear,adequate

Gender: female

Average gestational age: 27.4 weeks

Estimated Fetal Body Weight (EFBW): 1133 grams

Impression:

Heard from the doc that latest research findings show that the risk of uterine rupture for a VBAC with multiples versus a VBAC with a singleton isn't really greater. Pretty good chances for me, since I've had a successful VBAC already. Just depends on the OB, in terms of what conditions the doc has for willingness to do a VBAC.

My little miracle

I can still remember when ive always desired a baby .I first met my babies father when i was 26 and ever since then i had had a huge crush on him. He was 28 at the time and a two years older than me, so i assumed he had no interest. But we became close friends and 3 weeks after our first date, he and I became close and we plan to get married, Even  we were so  much in love .We both agree that after two years we will have our baby. We always used protection which i was so shocked to find out i was pregnant. After i took a at home test,  Ric  insisted on going to the doctor. When we did i told the doctor it was impossable that i was pregnant! But she asked if i had yet to have sex yet, and of course i said yes. At first i was scared  because we have many plans and i was diagnosed Hemolytic Anemia.So after finding out i was 2 weeks pregnant the next step was to visit Mt. Banahaw. When  my brother found out  they werent too happy about it, and they pushed the idea that Ric were planning of abortion at me. Rik's family were a lot more understanding.

It was my schedule to fly to KL that time as walking around the airport  with a little  belly. My heart breaks into pieces thinking that im 8 weeks pregnant and im leaving my husband  here but no one can stop me.Ric was continue his work at Maxims Hotel just in time for the birth of our baby.  We both plan that i need to stop work and to be a full time housewife And now im 7 months pregnant and our baby coming soon!. By this time  we started living in Makati. We were excited. When he was finally here i had my friends by my side to help me get through it.

Sakay na sa storya sang bisikleta sa amon kabuhi mag asawa

Paano ko suguran ang  storya ko man kung ako mismo di ko  kabalo magbisikleta pero mahilig ako magsulat. Frustrated writter ako gani gusto ko magsulat pero hambal ni tita ko wala daw da kwarta . Damo ako HILIG! Hilig ko magtimpla sang home made tocino kag ibaligya,magsulat sa journal,magkaon tsokolate,magkape samtang ga obra paper works kag mga extreme sports. Opo babaye ako pero mahilig ako sa mga adventure nga sports. Kag may isa ka weird na bagay sa akon hindi ako kabalo magbisikleta pero bana ko super adik sa bisikleta  nya. Storya nya gani sa akon paano sya nakabalo magbisikleta sang una daw ga hulam lang sya bisikleta sa tupad balay nila kag sa kahon pa daw sya ga praktis. Kapila na sya kuno masimplang sa kahon hasta makausad sya sang isa ka metro kag kis-a daw mabudlay pa magkambyo. Kapila na sya magtumpilak sa duta pero taga tindog nya daw nahambal nya sa kaugalingon nya gusto ko makabalo kag magkabakal sang akon bisikleta. Kis-a daw di pa sya pahulamon sang bisikleta sang tupad balay kag gina lagas sya sang bakol ni Tatay Tony kag Nanay Paz kay ugto adlaw manyaga na sige man sya gyapon praktis bike. Sang gamay pa sya abi puro hampang lang kag crush lang nagalibot ang iya kalibutan. Pagdating sa skwelahan na manage nya man daw nga magtuon   kag mag intra sa mga curricular activities (saot). Damo man daw sya naging migo pero may mga naka away man sya kag nakatapungulan  kay kis-a alaskador man sya kuno kag sunluganun. kapila naman daw sya ma broken hearted. Amo na sang naka obra sya nagtipon gid sya bakal sang iya racing bike kag una nila ka travel ka bestfriend nya. Ay oo gali "bestfriend" twag nya sa iya racing bike. From Manila To Tagaytay,Tagaytay  to Batangas back and forth and pag rest day off nya Manila to Antipolo. Nagpa register man sya sa Tour of the fire flies kaso wala daw sya tugtan ka company nila mag absent.

Ako ya man nga-a wala ako natuto magbisikleta samtang may bike man kami gani sa balay duwa pa. Dumduman ko man taga hapon buhi halin sa school naga praktis man mag magulang ko nga lalaki tag isa gid sila ka bisikleta bakal ni papa kung buy-an na gani nila ang bike dali-dali ko na dayun puluton  kag masikad sikad man ako nahambalan ko sang isa ko ka utod buy-e na di ka kabalo karon mapilasan ka pa kami kigan ni papa pero hambal ko gani mahilig ako sa adventure kag extreme amo na sige ko man gyapon sa padayun ko nga pagsikad nga pagsikad naga kiwi-kiwi agi ko sa sementado nga dalan hasta nga natumpilak ako sa humps nagtabog ang bike una sa akon. Abaw una pa nilagas ka magulang ko ang bisikleta kaysa akon pabangunun nagdugo akon ulo kag ang ilong ko na suso sa semento, ang braso ko kag legs puro gasgas kag ang akon nga tiil na piang kag nakakas akon kuko pag puli sa balay kinigan kami ni papa hinanot pa ako sang iya nga balakol nga lambot kung tawgon namon kay goma sya sang gulong ka jeep kag ang isa nya nga balakol tigas kay tungkod gid nga kahoy. Sugod sadto wala na ako nagkapyot kapyot bisikleta amo na hasta subong may remembrance ako sang bisikleta may scar ako sa akon legs. he..he....he...

Subong nga dako na kami kag mag-asawa na handum namon nga ipagpadayun ang mga hilig namon mag-asawa. Kag nadumduman ko ang hambal na binitiwan  ni Ariel Ureta isa ka sikat nga  personalidad sa telebisyon sang panahon na ang Plipinas  ay sa pamamahala pa ka batas military. "SA IKAKAUNLAD NG BAYAN ,BISEKLETA ANG KAILANGAN." Pero ano ka tuod ini nga sisteng ini nga ang disiplina sang bisikleta ang sandata para sa kaunlaran sang aton bansa. Pano ni maging posible kung hindi tanan nga tawo isa na ko da di kabalo magsikad,magpadyak o magpedal.
